The successful candidate will join the company "Product Business Unit" and oversee the technical design, development, and testing of company's software solutions. Additionally, they will manage project planning, execution, and delivery coordinating teams, managing resources, and ensuring goals are achieved on time and within budget.
The Dev Manager is an experienced software development professional with a strong passion for technology and a proven track record. The ideal candidate has progressed from roles such as programmer or software architect and has managed teams involved in the full software development lifecycle for enterprise-class software products delivered as standard packages. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, the primary responsibility will be to drive the system development of company's software enhancements. This includes supporting platform implementations aligned with the company product roadmap, overseeing customer implementations,
and developing change requests to ensure harmony within the standard products. Key responsibilities include analysing customer solutions, performing impact assessments for software changes, resource planning for developers and testers, and coordinating the implementation of changes and fixes with others Business Unit leads.
Job Duties
- Planning and coordinating software releases with relevant stakeholders.
- Establishing development timelines and milestones in accordance with the "Companys' Platform Roadmap".
- Monitoring implementation progress to ensure timely completion.
- Effectively allocating resources by assigning and supervising developers based on skills, motivation, and priorities.
- Leading and mentoring development teams, providing technical leadership through coaching, mentorship, and regular 1:1 meeting.
