Ancora is building the AI-native accounting and tax service for Italian SMEs: one fixed monthly price, answers in hours instead of weeks, a technology platform built from scratch and accounting firms operated directly by the group. Everything the traditional firm is not.

The role

We are looking for our first Business Development Representative: the person who opens conversations between Ancora and Italian entrepreneurs. Milan hybrid, €35,000-45,000 OTE (base plus uncapped variable), stock options. And a market where every company is a potential client: by law, forever.

Most of your conversations start warm: our investors' networks, partners who meet companies the day they are incorporated, inbound requests. The rest you go get yourself, researching and cold-contacting target companies. From day one you work a mapped pipeline of hundreds of companies: no bought lists.





You are one of the first two people on Ancora's commercial team: you open the conversations, our Account Executive and the founders close them. The process you build becomes our sales machine. And this is no parking spot: it is the entry point of a sales career at Ancora, with an explicit path to Account Executive.

What you'll do
- Multichannel outreach. Personalized emails and messages that get replies, phone when it shortens the path.
- Targeted prospecting. You find and cold-contact the companies warm channels don't bring in: newly incorporated startups, businesses unhappy with their current accountant.
- Qualification. You quickly understand whether there is a real fit, and book the meeting for our Account Executive and the founders only when there is. No burned demos.
- A clean pipeline, always. Every contact tracked in the CRM, every follow-up on time. The scripts and sequences that work: you write them, with us.
