The HSE Manager is responsible for ensuring full compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations across the three Italian sites (Bologna, Milano, and Vicenza), with on‑site presence required at each location. This role oversees the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's Environmental Health & Safety Management System in alignment with ISO 14001 and UNI ISO 45001:2018 standards.
The HSE Manager supports the planning, development, execution, and ongoing enhancement of occupational health, safety, and environmental programs to safeguard employee wellbeing and operational integrity. A key focus of the role is strengthening safety culture, influencing behaviours, and fostering close collaboration with operational leaders, General Managers, and cross‑functional teams to embed proactive, accountable, and sustainable EH&S; practices throughout the organization.
Typical Accountabilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental:
- Driving best practices,
regulatory compliance and strong safety culture initiatives within all sites and with all leaders
- Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace
- Survey to identify and evaluate occupational health, safety and environmental conditions
- Conduct and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices
- Provide advice and counsel concerning all the compliance regulations applicable based on the local law and the company policies
- Develop controls for identified hazards
- Coordinate the implementation of controls from results of hazard analysis
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the hazard control system, policies, and procedures and recommend changes that reflect improved opportunities to eliminate workplace accidents and injuries
People:
