The activity is focused on the study of cast aluminum alloys for engine applications, with the aim of supporting material selection, process optimization, and heat treatment design through compositional, microstructural, mechanical, and fractographic characterization of engine components. The activity is carried out in the framework of the development of high-performance and high-reliability components for the automotive sector.
