Offer Description

The candidate must be able to manage and compare hyperspectral signatures acquired by hyperspectral sensors mounted on drones of asbestos-cement roofs with a reference hyperspectral library, constructed from analyses of asbestos-cement samples and alternative roofing materials (bricks, metal,



eco-friendly fiber cement, bituminous membranes, photovoltaic panels), through laboratory studies. The candidate must also be able to create a library to collect, catalog, and analyze the spectral signatures of asbestos-cement and the main alternative materials used in building roofing (MCA) at laboratory scale, in order to establish a reliable comparative database. Finally, the candidate must be able to develop and apply classification algorithms for discriminating between asbestos-cement roofs.
