Offer Description

We are looking for aPostdoctoral Researcher to join theNeurophysics group at theCenter for Mind/Brain Sciences (CIMeC),University of Trento , Rovereto (Italy).

Responsibilities The researcher will take a leading role in theTransFly project ,



which investigates howseasonal adaptation reshapessensory processing andbehaviour in the invasive fruit fly Drosophila suzukii. The project combinesfunctional calcium imaging ,behavioural experiments ,transgenic Drosophila models , andcomputational data analysis in a highly interdisciplinary research environment.

Qualifications We welcome applicants with a background in neuroscience, neurobiology, biotechnology, biophysics, or related disciplines. Experience in the following areas is particularly desirable:

- Advanced fluorescence microscopy
- Functional calcium imaging
- Quantitative data analysis and scientific programming
