The Cilea Opera Festival is hosting an international singing competition in Reggio Calabria, Italy, from November 4 to 6, 2026. The competition offers a total prize pool of €10,000, with various scholarships awarded to the top performers. The first prize is a scholarship of €2,000, the second prize is €1,500, and the third prize is €1,000. Additionally, there are special awards, including a €500 scholarship for the best performance of a Cilea chamber aria and another €500 scholarship offered by the Giulia Chiarella family. Winners may also have opportunities for engagements in the upcoming concert season of the Cilea Theater Orchestra. The application deadline is October 20, 2026.
