The Accounting Manager leads the organization's accounting operations, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial records while delivering timely, high-quality financial information to support business decisions. This role combines operational excellence with strong governance, driving efficient financial close processes, robust internal controls, and continuous improvement across the accounting function.
Acting as a trusted business partner, the Accounting Manager collaborates closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure financial transparency, regulatory compliance, and sustainable business performance.
The role is based in our HQ in Rome.
Job responsibilities:
Accounting Operations & Financial Close
- Lead and oversee all accounting activities, including account payable, account receivable, inventory, intercompany, account reconciliations, journal entries, and period-end close.
- Ensure the accurate and timely recognition of revenues, expenses, accruals,



and provisions in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation of accounting processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and data quality.
- Ensure the integrity of financial records through effective governance and process discipline.

Financial Reporting & Business Support
- Provide insightful financial analysis, variance reporting, and performance commentary to support executive decision-making.
- Partner with FP&A; and business leaders in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Support strategic initiatives by providing reliable financial data, projections, and business insights.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
- Design, maintain, and continuously strengthen the internal control framework to safeguard company assets and ensure reporting accuracy
