Offer Description
We are looking for aPostdoctoral Researcherto join theNeurophysics groupat theCenter for Mind/Brain Sciences(CIMeC),University of Trento, Rovereto (Italy).
Responsibilities The researcher will take a leading role in theTransFly project,



which investigates howseasonal adaptationreshapessensory processingandbehaviourin the invasive fruit fly Drosophila suzukii. The project combinesfunctional calcium imaging,behavioural experiments,transgenic Drosophila models, andcomputational data analysisin a highly interdisciplinary research environment.
Qualifications We welcome applicants with a background in neuroscience, neurobiology, biotechnology, biophysics, or related disciplines. Experience in the following areas is particularly desirable:
- Advanced fluorescence microscopy
- Functional calcium imaging
- Quantitative data analysis and scientific programming
