Responsibilities / Tasks
The Sales Area Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth and expanding GEA Bakery's business within the assigned territory. Working closely with Front Line Sales organizations, customers and cross-functional teams, the role leads strategic sales opportunities, develops key accounts and ensures a strong pipeline of qualified business opportunities through a consultative and value-based selling approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory growth plans aligned with GEA Bakery's strategic objectives.
- Drive customer engagement and build strong relationships with key decision makers.
- Lead complex sales opportunities in collaboration with Front Line Sales organizations and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate account development plans for strategic and key customers.
- Manage opportunity pipelines, forecast accuracy and CRM discipline.
- Develop customer-focused value propositions based on productivity, performance and Total Cost of Ownership.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources including Application Management, Product Management and Technical Offer teams throughout the sales process.
- Lead commercial negotiations while ensuring profitability and long-term customer value.
- Deliver Order Intake, Revenue, Margin and business growth targets.
- Provide market insights and Voice of Customer feedback to support innovation
