Details of the jobOVERALL MISSION
The Facility & Construction Supervisor (FCS) is responsible for the development of retail projects for Hermès in Italy and Greece, and for the facility management of the stores of the subsidiary. The FCS plans, manages, and executes new store openings, extraordinary renovations and restyling projects. The FCS collaborates with architects, consultants, contractors, and all external and internal stakeholders (e.g. Operations, Visual, etc.)
to ensure the projects are properly executed in compliance with Maison standards of excellence. Moreover, the FCS supervises the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of all the stores in the subsidiary.
Responsibilities include coordinating store layout improvements consisting of store configurations or upgrades of existing stores; the supervision and accountability of project budgets, schedules and project design; and consulting retail teams to ensure requirements are incorporated into the project and critical timelines and project information are communicated. The FCS oversees the construction and completion of each location to ensure quality standards are met in a timely and cost-effective way. Moreover, the FCS supervises and supports the Facility Coordinator/Specialist in managing the maintenance of store systems, external warehouses, and the headquarters, ensuring buildings are maintained clean, functional and aligned with excellent quality standards.
