GammaTech Engineering (GTE) is looking for a Senior Engine Performance Simulation Engineer with a solid work ethic, excellent judgment, and a desire to build a long-term career with us.
What You Will Do
You would join our 1D Reactive Flow Simulation team, a group with nearly 20 years of experience in developing solutions for engine gas-exchange and combustion modelling and simulation. In this role, you would contribute to consulting projects for major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1 suppliers in the transportation industry.
- Build, calibrate and correlate complex engine models, and simulate innovative ICE technologies using GT-SUITE, on a variety of applications: from SI to Diesel and alternative fuels; from marine or heavy-duty to motorsport and sportscar applications
- Perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to: combustion model calibration and validation; turbo-matching analyses; intake and exhaust acoustic optimization; design optimization and virtual calibration
- Develop and adapt innovative CAE methodologies to meet customer requirements, devising alternative design solutions for complex problems
- Analyze simulation results and provide expertise on the observed phenomena
- Author high quality technical reports, simulation workflows, procedures and training material
- Interact with colleagues on multi-disciplinary projects to achieve comprehensive solutions
- Manage projects and ensure timely delivery within the provided budget; choose the most effective and efficient technical approach to meet project requirements; manage and supervise the resources assigned to the project
- Collaborate closely with customers, fostering positive and cooperative relationships
- Participate in drafting technical and economic proposals
What You Will Bring
