Communication Support for the Artemis III Mission

We are looking for a Communication Support for the Artemis III Mission to complete our consultants Workforce Management Service to support the ESA Communication, Outreach and Media Relations Department of the European Space Agency (ESA) at their location in Frascati, Italy. The successful candidate shall act as the Mission Communication Coordinator and principal point of contact for the mission, ensuring coordination between the astronaut, ESA communication offices, HRE stakeholders, national partners, media stakeholders and relevant internal and external parties.

Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at the interview stage).

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:
- Mission Communication Planning:
- Develop, maintain and update the Artemis III Mission Communication Plan;
- Define mission communication objectives, audiences, key messages and communication priorities;
- Coordinate mission communication planning across all mission phases;
- Maintain and update the integrated communication calendar.
- Astronaut Communication Coordination:
- Act as ESA's primary communications point of contact for the astronaut;
- Coordinate all communication requests requiring astronaut participation;
- Prioritise communication activities based on operational constraints and mission priorities;
- Coordinate reviews and approvals of messaging, public statements, scripts and communicati
