The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel belonging to Marriott International, is currently recruiting for a Housekeeping Coordinator.
It is a full-time role (40-hour working week made of 8 hours per 5 days and 2 days off).

What you’ll do




- Assist manager and supervisors in inspecting guest rooms, public areas, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards.
- Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.
- Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities.
- Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
- Document issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
- Under the guidance of a supervisor, prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/workboards. Communicate issues to next shift.
- Complete required paperwork.
- Use company tools, such as GXP and Opera for department operations
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures;
- Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certif
