Job Description
We are currently seeking a Material Planner to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy

Ensure material availability to support production continuity, optimizing inventory levels, supplier performance, and delivery reliability. The Material Planner manages the short/medium‑term supply plan, coordinating with suppliers and internal functions to prevent shortages and ensure customer requirements are met.

What kind of work will you be doing?




Material Planning & Supply Management

-
- Manage material requirements according to production plans, customer demand, and MRP signals.
- Monitor material availability and identify potential risks impacting production schedules.
- Analyze shortages, constraints, and supply gaps, defining recovery actions with suppliers and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate planning parameters and ensure data quality in ERP systems.

Supplier Management & Expediting

- Monitor supplier deliveries and ensure alignment with requested delivery dates.
- Perform proactive expediting of supplier orders within a 3‑month planning horizon.
- Ensure timely supplier deliveries through expediting activities within a 3‑month supply horizon.
- Follow up on delayed materials, elevate critical issues, and coordinate recovery plans.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and suppliers to improve delivery performance.
