You will lead the relevant commodity, supported by Buyers, and by casting technical leaders.
In this role, you will lead the relevant commodity organization, working closely with and providing guidance to Buyers and Casting Technical Leaders. You will ensure coordination among sourcing, supplier quality, procurement operations, and technical teams to enable the successful execution of business objectives and long-term commodity strategy
Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities
- Drive the development and deployment of sourcing strategies aimed at ensuring supplier performance, continuity of supply, quality, cost competitiveness, and supply chain derisking.
- Be responsible to develop for its commodity the relevant long run forecast and will work jointly with the Sourcing Strategy leader to harmonize it in the overall Sourcing strategy and supply base foot print.
- Ensure sourcing process integrity, productivity optimization, quality and fulfillment.
- Develop supplier/buyer contractual relationships to meet the business needs also through contracts negotiation
- Apply a comprehensive knowledge of financial/business concepts, negotiation dynamics, project management, Company processes and procedures.
- Drive the commodity to meet Supply Chain and Company’s goals and targets, contributing to setting the most effective organization and identifying and mitigating risks.
- Partner with engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure robust supplier capability and industrial readiness.
- Monitor market trends, supplier risks, and capacity constraints, implementing mitigation plans where needed.
- Own Commodity metrics such as but not limited to Suppliers KPI, Net Deflation, Cost out, non-quality
