This position will be based at Monte San Pietro (BO).Role Mission:The Global Commodity ManagerElectronics leads a team of Commodity Buyers within the assigned commodity. He/She creates and implements global commodity strategy. Responsible for cost, quality and delivery performance of the assigned commodity. Manage supplier ResponsibilitiesDevelop Commodity ManagersDevelop and align commodity strategy with other functions in line with business needsEnsure global implementation of commodity strategyIntroduce new technologies and new suppliersSet cost and delivery targets for suppliers of assigned commodityManage supplier relationshipsEnsure commodity contractual coverageEnsure commodity compliance with company rules and policiesSupport the improvement of processes and standards in collaboration with Business Improvement TeamPlan annual budget of direct materials cost, OPEX for the assigned commodityKPIs:Commodity direct materials cost savingCommodity delivery performance (OTD and lead time)Commodity strategy implementationCommodity contractual coverageCommodity COPQ (recorded value and % of recharge)RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in EngineeringLanguages: Fluent Italian and English; written and verbal : 4 – 8 years in a similar roleOther Information & Specific SkillsSolid technical knowledge of electronics componentsAbility to interact technically with R&D; teamCapability to define and implement commodity strategiesKnowledge of electronic semiconductors marketCompetence in contract and supplier agreementsAnalysis and reporting skillsExcellent team player and c
