Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated Mechanical or Aerospace Engineer to join our Vacuum Technologies R&D; team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, verification, and validation of dry scroll vacuum pumps and rotary vane vacuum pumps, supporting new product development as well as sustaining engineering activities.The role will focus on the design and development of vacuum pump components and assemblies, with particular emphasis on structural analysis and mechanical integrity assessment. The engineer will leverage simulation tools and experimental methods to evaluate and optimize product performance, reliability, and durability. The position also includes fluid dynamic and thermal analyses, as well as experimental validation activities, to support overall product development and performance ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop mechanical components and assemblies for scroll and rotary vane vacuum pumps.Perform structural analyses using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools to evaluate strength, stiffness, fatigue life,



and reliability of components and systems.Support fluid dynamic and thermal analyses to evaluate flow behavior, heat transfer, and overall product performance.Plan, execute, and analyze experimental validation activities to correlate simulation results with physical testing.Develop and perform tests to verify structural, fluid dynamic, and thermal performance.Support noise and vibration investigations through data acquisition and analysis.Develop test plans, analyze results, and generate technical reports and with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive product improvements.Contribute to the continuous improvement of simulation methodologies, testing processes, and product performance.Support root cause investigations and corrective actions related to field and manufacturing issues.QualificationsMaster's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
