We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.About the role:As a Principal Supplier Quality Engineer you will perform supplier quality activities including audits/assessments, surveys, inspections, oversight, and verification at Westinghouse supplier facilities. You will be part of the APX Supplier Quality Team with a specific focus on suppliers providing ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel (B&PV;) Code materials and components for the AP1000 Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS).You will report to the Senior Manager, Supplier Quality NSSS. This is a hybrid position based in Monfalcone, Italy, requiring onsite presence three days per week.



Relocation assistance is provided for eligible based in European Union countries are encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement supplier surveillance and oversight plans to ensure compliance with quality and technical standards.Resolve supplier quality issues which adversely impact product quality.Perform independent assessments and oversight to confirm that suppliers have established and implemented an effective quality management system. This system must ensure that nuclear safety-related and/or ASME B&PV; Code Section III materials, and components meet all quality, regulatory, and customer requirements specified in purchasing documents.Monitor progress to achieve established quality goals within budgetary and schedule constraints.Create certification documents, which identify the procurement requirements met by the purchased material or equipment, such as codes, standards, and other specifications imposed by Westinghouse Customers, for major equipment and components.Lead assessments of the global supply base to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, codes
