The opportunity We’re looking for a Cyber/Tech PI Underwriter or Broker (or someone with strong Cyber/Tech PI/Financial Lines experience looking to specialise) to help grow our Cyber portfolio in Milan. You’ll join our Global Speciality business as a key member of the Cyber /Tech PI team, supporting the delivery of our underwriting plan and building your expertise in a fast‑moving and innovative class.What will you be doing?
- Supporting the delivery of the Cyber/Tech PI underwriting plan in Milan, contributing to sound risk selection, pricing discipline and portfolio performance.
- Underwriting a mix of mid‑market and, with support, more complex Cyber/Tech PI risks in line with our appetite, guidelines and pricing frameworks, with a clear commitment to risk quality, governance and pro‑active pipeline management / business development.
- Assisting senior underwriters with larger or more complex accounts, including data gathering, analysis, preparation of quotes and documentation.
- Using available tools,



data and portfolio insights to inform underwriting decisions and help identify trends and opportunities.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with brokers and customers, acting as a reliable and responsive point of contact for day‑to‑day Cyber/Tech PI enquiries.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the team and wider functions (claims, actuarial, portfolio management and operations) to support effective case handling and portfolio management.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, including process enhancement, use of new tools and ways of working, and sharing lessons learned.
- Taking ownership of your development plan, actively building your technical knowledge, market understanding and underwriting skills.
