We are looking for an Assistant Accounting Manager to join our pre-opening team.
The role will report to the Accounting Manager.
Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a contemporary 5-star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy’s most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Manage the Accounts Receivable process, including daily monitoring of revenues, discounts, complimentary items, and cancellations.
- Perform daily cash and credit card reconciliations, ensuring accurate posting to the general ledger.
- Monitor and reconcile guest paid-out transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review and reconcile daily income and transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Manage reconciliations of deposit accounts and other balance sheet accounts.
- Reconcile the Accounts Receivable ledger, ensuring accurate allocation and application of payments.




- Ensure accurate and timely processing and reporting of city tax obligations.
- Provide support to the Accounts Payable function, including invoice review, coding, and posting of Italian and foreign (intracee - extracee) invoices.
- Collaborate with operational departments to ensure correct cost allocation and compliance with internal controls.
- Support analytical accounting and cost center reporting, delivering insights and variance analysis to management.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, documentation, and audit materials for internal and external audits.

Skills and requirements:
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and Italian fiscal law.
- Strong understanding of both accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Familiarity with analytical accounting and cost center management.
- Knowledge of Business Central and Opera Cloud is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skill
