Job Description Summary
Help shape the future of GE Vernova's high-voltage bushings.

As part of our international R&D; team, you'll contribute to the design and development of innovative products while helping drive continuous improvement across our existing portfolio. You'll apply your expertise to electrical analysis, product optimization, quality enhancement, and manufacturing excellence, playing a key role in delivering reliable high-voltage technologies that support power transmission networks around the world.

Activities mainly contribute to the high voltage bushings design and product development. The role includes also tasks linked to technical continuous improvement of existing products with focus on material cost-out, design for manufacturing and standardization. Mandatory support for root cause analysis to improve product quality. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work if the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).





Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supports the R&D; Manager in the preparation and development of the R&D; plan.
- Performs electric and magnetic field advanced analysis
- Performs basics thermal analysis
- Participates in the development of new product and technology introduction and projects gate reviews
- Contributes to development of technical standards for engineering and manufacturing procedures for production.
- Participates in the International R&D; Team on specific projects and to International standard committees.
- Supports the project of cost and Quality root cause analysi
