Field Application Engineer

We are currently looking to employ a Generalist Field Application Engineer to join our Advanced Engineering team in Bologna, Italy.

What the role involves:

- Provide Applications and Design Solutions as a Technical Advisor to the assigned customer base in Switzerland
- Responsible for solving customer problems and product challenges through appropriate positioning and presentation of products
- Identification of opportunities and provision of appropriate technical solutions through frequent customer visits.




- Close collaboration and exchange with our Suppliers as well as internally with the Sales Team
- Demonstration and Design-In of the product line
- Definition and management of customer-specific workshops and company-hosted tech days

Do you have:

-
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian
- Degree in Electronics, Electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
- Minimum of five years design experience either in the field or with an electronics company
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure
- Proactive and results-driven approach
