PROXAUT S.r.l. is looking for a Software Developer with a passion for software development and a strong aptitude for innovation, to join our Software Department.

The selected candidate will become part of a young and collaborative team, contributing to the design and development of advanced software solutions for the management of a fleet of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs).
Main Responsibilities
The candidate will be involved in the following activities:

- Analysis and design: working with the team to analyse the system’s functional and non-functional requirements, defining effective and scalable technical solutions;
- Designing and developing complex software components using Java 17/21, ensuring code quality and compliance with development standards;
- Integration: integrating fleet management systems with other systems installed within the plant;
- Testing: performing unit, integration,
and system tests to ensure the correct functionality of the developed software;
- Collaboration: working closely with other team members, analysts, testers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:

- a technical diploma or degree in Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or a related field;
- knowledge of Java programming;
- knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful services;
- knowledge of SQL;
- knowledge of Git;
- at least 2 years of experience in a similar role;
- excellent knowledge of diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures;
- willingness to undertake occasional business trips in Italy and abroad;
- a collaborative attitude and strong team-working skills;
- good knowledge of the English language.
