Partnering with SMEs within the Renewable Space Location: Hybrid (Milan, Italy) - Flexible on working format.
Are you passionate about driving the transition to clean energy? An established international renewable-energy developer is looking for a Project Engineer to join its growing Italian team.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and coordination of solar PV, PV + storage, and interconnection infrastructure projects.
- Oversee low, medium, and high-voltage infrastructure design, including overhead lines, underground lines, switching/transformer centers, and substations.
- Manage and collaborate with external engineering firms and ensure alignment with company strategy.
- Evaluate project status during development and work closely with procurement on cost evaluations.
- Estimate project yield and maintain professional relationships with EPCs,



manufacturers, investors, utilities, developers, and landowners.

What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within Italy.
- Strong knowledge of Italian renewable-energy permitting procedures and familiarity with E-Distribuzione and Terna processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Google Earth, IMEDEXA (or similar), and substation design software.
- Solid project-management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Fluent English (other languages a plus).
- Experience with BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) projects is a premio.
