Our client is a private banking institution based in Luxembourg that provides independent advisory‑only services and tailored cross‑border wealth management solutions.
Offerta
As a Risk Officer your responsibilities are:

- Support and strengthen the local second line of defense (LOD2) framework in close collaboration with the Chief Risk Officer.
- Contribute to the bank's Enterprise Risk Management framework, including annual risk assessments, risk mapping, RCSA, risk taxonomy updates and broader governance topics.
- Oversee key risk areas with a focus on credit risk, operational risk and ERM, while maintaining general awareness of topics such as ICT / DORA, ESG and other non‑financial risks.
- Act as a true risk partner to the business by providing constructive challenge, sound judgment and pragmatic recommendations.
- Review lending‑related risks and support the monitoring of day‑to‑day credit risk topics, including knowledge of loan products / Lombard lending.
- Help ensure alignment with local regulatory expectations and internal group standards.
- Work with stakeholders to identify control gaps, assess emerging risks and support ongoing improvements to the risk framework.
- Promote a strong and proactive risk culture across the business.
Competenze ed esperienza
A successful Risk Officer should have:

- At least 5 years' experience in risk management, internal audit or risk advisory within the banking sector.
- Strong exposure to a LOD2 environment is essential.
- Good understanding of Enterprise Risk Management topics such as risk assessment, risk mapping, RCSA and governance.
- Solid knowledge of credit risk in a banking environm
