About The RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our Wallet team, which owns critical services in our product. The team is responsible for players’ wallets, bet placement, settlements, deposits and withdrawals, and other critical backend services. We’re looking for engineers with strong backend fundamentals and experience building reliable, high‑load systems with complex business logic.
What You’ll Do
- Take full ownership of backend features and improvements, from design through implementation, deployment, and production support
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high‑performance backend services using Python and Django, including asynchronous components where applicable
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability, prevent regressions, and improve overall test coverage and testing practices
- Estimate software development effort for features and long‑term technical initiatives
- Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to turn requirements into well‑defined technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews, help raise engineering quality, and contribute to technical decisions
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5+ years of development experience, with Python as the primary language
