We are currently looking for an Assistant Controller to join our team in Rome, on a 9-month maternity cover contract.

Key Responsibilities

-
- Supervise accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial data under US GAAP
- Coordinate monthly closing activities for reporting purposes
- Review balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure proper recording of revenues, expenses, depreciation, accruals, and deferrals
- Review and approve adjusting and correcting journal entries
- Contribute to the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with ITA GAAP
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations,



and company policies
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation
- Support special projects

Key Skills & Qualifications

-
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP and ITA GAAP)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Team management capabilities
- Proficiency with Excel and ERP/accounting systems (Oracle Cloud)
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Advanced, professional English level
