The mission of this role, in strict partnership with the regional HSE Team, is to deploy in the factory the global and regional programs promoting safe behaviors and best working practices , proactively shaping them according to the local needs and opportunities.

General Description Of The Role
Reporting solid line to the Plant Director and dotted line to the Regional HSE Manager - EMEA, actively contributes to lead the HSE function locally and to spread the HSE principles among the factory, progressively switching from a "reactive" to a "proactive excellence" mode in managing HSE.

Key Responsibilities And Activities

- Fulfil the role of the Responsible for Prevention and Protection Service (RSPP) according to Legislative Decree 81/08, including risk assessment, definition of preventive and protective measures, safety procedures, worker training requirements,



collaboration with the Occupational Company doctor and support to the Employer in all statutory obligations.
- Drive HSE leadership across all levels of the organization, promoting accountability, engagement and continuous improvement in safety performance and culture.
- Challenge operational decisions and elevate significant HSE risks when necessary, ensuring that safety and environmental risks are effectively managed and that legal and corporate requirements are met.
- Act as the primary point of contact for HSE-related interactions with regulatory authorities, external auditors, insurers and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental permits and regulatory requirements, including emissions, wastewater, waste management, chemical storage and environmental reporting obligations.
