OverviewSolution Designer automation — As a Solution Designer, you will play a crucial role in the growth of our intralogistics automation business across EMEA. You will provide technical expertise and design support to the sales team, developing innovative and cost-effective solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our customers.

Responsibilities
- Analyze customer needs thoroughly and create the right intralogistics automation solutions tailored to their specific requirements, considering throughput, space, budget, and integration needs.
- Consult with customers and internal teams to design the optimal intralogistics solution, ensuring feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with customer objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop winning intralogistics automation solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with technical contacts at customer sites and partner organizations to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of automated intralogistics solutions for pallets and bins, including AS/RS systems, AGVs/AMRs, shuttle solutions, conveyor technologies, picking systems, and their appropriate applications in different industries and warehouse environments.
- Support the sales team throughout the project sales cycle by providing technical expertise, developing compelling solution concepts, and creating impactful presentations.
- Coordinate technical details effectively with internal teams (engineering, project management, service) and external partners to ensure seamless solution delivery and successful project execution.
- Develop detailed technical documentation, including solution layouts, equipment specifications, and system architectures, to guide implementation and support future maintenance.
