Job DescriptionDatalogic is looking for a Business Unit Senior Controller, this position will be a key member of Planning & Control and will actively contribute in shaping the future of Datalogic’s success inside the controlling team in Calderara di Reno (BO).

Role MissionThe role will act as a strategic finance partner to the business, providing rigorous analysis, forward-looking insight, and clear recommendations that drive informed decision-making, accountability, and sustainable performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast process for BU sales, capex, and operating costs — challenging assumptions and aligning financial targets with business strategy in close partnership with business management.
- Serve as the primary finance business partner to BU leaders, translating P&L; results and financial performance into clear, actionable insights that drive timely and informed business decisions.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly management reporting and statistical analysis, proactively highlighting risks, opportunities, and emerging trends beyond the numbers.
- Act as a trusted sparring partner to the BU General Manager, actively contributing to initiatives that drive sustainable growth and profitability.
- Conduct product profitability and investment return analyses; partner with BU management in the development of new product business cases, bringing financial judgement to support go/no-go decisions.
- Monitor sales and margin evolution, delivering variance analysis vs. budget and prior year with clear narrative and recommended corrective actions.
