We are looking for a motivated professional to support our FEA Modelling & Research team.

Your Core Activities

-
- Developing or improving modelling techniques to predict force and moments (F&M;) transmitted to the vehicle using finite element methods or simplified approaches.
- Understanding how tyre construction affects performance of standalone tyre, and their impact on vehicle handling manoeuvres (soft and hard).
- Contribute to the development of simulation and analysis tools:

-
- Define modelling guidelines for accuracy improvements.
- Define virtual methodologies and validate them vs experimental ones.
- Critical analysis of results of both simulations and experimental tests and their correlation.
- Improve automation and industrialization of simulations guaranteeing efficient use of HW and SW resources.
- Harmonize simulation tools and methodology within the Pirelli worldwide technical centers.
