CG-102B2)About theclient: Our Client is a multinational company, one of theworld’s largest systems suppliers for the food, beverage and pharmaceuticalsectors. His portfolio includes machinery and plants as well as advancedprocess technology, components and comprehensive services. The company has someimportants branches in nord Italy.About the role:We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented BUYER to be responsible forselecting and purchasing quality products for our business. The buyer,reporting to the HEAD OF PROCUREMENT in the PROCUREMENT DIVISION, will workwith staff across departments to forecast the needs of the business and makepurchase decisions based on demand. The SENIOR STRATEGIC BUYER should be analyticallyminded and possess excellent negotiating skills to secure the best pricesaccording to budget. Your responsibilities will include processing purchaseorders, negotiating with suppliers, tracking orders, creating and maintainingan inventory,



quality assurance and liaising with inventory teams andmanagement. Knowledge of sales and marketing principles is advantageous.Role Responsibilities:· Worksclosely with category managers of respective category and project procurementmanagers implementing the category strategy and linking it into the business· Adaptsand implements catalogues and framework contracts on Divisional/ regional levelin compliance with guidelines· Runsnegotiations, awarding decisions and follow-up with suppliers, takes awardingdecisions in line with category strategy· Executessupplier selection along strategy, requirements, supplier base development, andidentification of new suppliers· Directinvolvement in and solving of issues with suppliers (e.G., quality, delivery,and service issues), etc.· Researchof new technologies, materials on request of other company functions (technicaloffice, R&D;, production office);
