For the expansion of our team, we are seeking to hire in Pioltello, Milan a dynamic and motivated Mechanical R&D; Engineer.Main taks:Design and construction of electrical system/products and project-based solutions.Perform finite element analyses (tension/stress, fatigue, hardware analysis, welding, aging frequency/vibration) to aid and optimize design and validation of new products, focusing on modeling welded/bolted/riveted joints, fatigue, proof stresses,
and safety factors according to railway norms and best practices.Provide technology innovations and high product reliability.Keep design database updated in order to trace and produce right apparatuses.Keep high level of technology in mechanical & electrical products.Validate all mechanical & electrical design of dedicated group.RequirementsMaster’s degree in mechanical engineering with experience in FE simulation for mechanical validation. Other master degree can be evaluated (like: electrical engineer…).Electrical AC/DC Medium / High voltage as a strong plus.Development or technical design on mechanical or electro-mechanical devices is a plus.Minimum 5 years of successful industrial experience.Very good knowledge of 3D CAD modelling software (Solidworks, CATIA, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, etc..).Railway rolling stock industry & international standards knowledge as a plus.Experience with MSC Nastran/Apex/Patran is advantageous.Experience with analysis of wel
