AVL Italia S.p. A. offers a job in Italy (IT) as Electrical & Special Systems Design Team Leader The candidate will report to the Head of Engineering and will be responsible for leading the Electrical & Special Systems Design Team, coordinating project activities, and contributing directly to the electrical design of industrial systems for engine and vehicle testing facilities. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and manage the Electrical and Special Systems Design Team Coordinate project activities and ensure alignment with project objectives Monitor project progress, timelines, and resource planning Ensure proper implementation of internal processes and engineering standards Design electrical and special systems for engine and vehicle testing facilities Prepare technical documentation, including: technical reports; technical specifications and tender documents; cost estimates and bills of quantities Develop electrical single-line diagrams Produce layout drawings and system plans Perform calculations and system sizing YOUR PROFILE:
Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial plant/electrical system design Degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma as an Electrical Technician Proven leadership and team management skills Proficiency in Auto CADGood knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Solid understanding of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., Low Voltage, EMC, Machinery Directive, ATEX)Availability for short business trips within Italy and occasional international travel Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team Dynamic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities English language knowledge (from good to advanced)NICE TO HAVEExperience with Progetto Integra software Experience with Dia Lux software Experience with Eplan P8 Experience with TNE software Knowledge of Performance Level calculation tools Familiarity with PLC-based systems Registration to Professional Association We offer Starting salary: 48k CCNL M
