Supplier Quality Management Engineer

About the Role

Job Purpose

You will be a part of Bridgestone’s planning, organizing, directing, and reporting on supplier provided raw materials as an output of their process,



designed/manufactured goods, and packaging materials to ensure they meet or exceed requirements set by our cross functional team including technical area, manufacturing, procurement, plants, and plant processing and engineering groups.

Please note that the position is offered under a fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities:
- Verify and validate that suppliers and/or subcontractors have received engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements.
- Monitoring quality control activities and systems at supplier and subcontractor facilities, as well as an output of their process capabilities at their facilities impacting our raw material products.
- Ensuring programs are in place to improve supplier performance and productivity
- Reviewing and analyzing corrective action reports to reduce/eliminate defects. May perform deviation investigations into quality issues.
