Assistant Principal – Parma, Ohio

Constellation Schools is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Principal in Parma, Ohio dedicated to providing a superior education for all students. Responsibilities
- Supports the school’s educational program and maximizes student learning experiences in a safe learning environment.
- Articulates the school’s philosophy and mission and complies with all pertinent Ohio and Federal educational requirements.
- Maintains a welcoming, safe, clean, orderly, positive and effective learning environment that promotes high academic and behavioral expectations.
- Supports a framework that involves the entire school community in developing and supporting shared beliefs, values, mission and goals, ensuring continuous progress.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with staff, parents, ODE, local elected and civic leaders, and the broader community.




- Maintains positive school communication and seeks assistance from LLC staff to improve performance.
- Implements Board policies and administrative regulations to provide an atmosphere in which students succeed.
- Administers all Federal, State and Board adopted programs, adhering to all eligibility, record‑keeping, reporting and confidentiality requirements.
- Supports the delivery of all Title and Special Education Services in compliance with applicable law.
- Assists the School Principal in creating an operating schedule that ensures year‑round building access.
- Participates in the interviewing of potential school employees.
- Supports the School Principal in ensuring success of Community School Sponsor site visits.
- Participates in student enrollment processes.
- Attends all scheduled Board meetings.
- Maintains the Parent/Student Handbook and Student Code of Conduct, handling student discipline fairly and consistently.
