Our client is a well known international organization operating in the FMCG sector, specializing in the procurement and supply chain of fresh produce. They are committed to maintaining high standards in sourcing and logistics, ensuring quality and efficiency in their operations.
Offerta
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Act as the primary liaison between the Italian operations and the international headquarters, ensuring alignment on procurement, operational and commercial objectives.
- Lead the establishment and start-up of the company's Italian operations, including local supplier network development and operational infrastructure setup.
- Drive market development activities across Italy, identifying sourcing opportunities and building long‑term relationships with growers,
grower groups and industry stakeholders.
- Support the legal, administrative and operational setup of the local entity, coordinating with external partners and service providers.
- Provide regular market intelligence, crop forecasts and procurement updates to the international leadership team.
- Represent the company in the Italian fresh produce industry and develop the company's local presence and reputation.
Competenze ed esperienza
A successful Country Operation Manager - Fruit Apple & Kiwi should have:

- A strong network of independent growers in Italy.
- Proven expertise in sourcing, negotiation, and operational management.
- Solid understanding of Temperature‑controlled supply chain and export processes.
