Your Opportunity, Your Team
The Buyer supports QVC Italy and will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing and merchandising a specific product range in a timely and efficient manner, in order to maximize the company’s net profit contribution.
Where You'll Work
This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite in Brugherio (MB) several days per month; onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company.
This is a full-time temporary contract - maternity cover.
What You'll Do
Reporting to the Buying Manager Fashion, you will:
Source, select, and secure a suitable range of products for QVC that fits the target market.
Actively identify and secure new brands to expand QVC's portfolio, ensuring we move beyond the existing brand matrix.
Negotiate the best possible prices and conditions.
Work closely with the Planning team to review product performance, and to plan and grow the product range.
Monitor inventory levels, taking accountability for the return-to-supplier process.
Meet regularly with suppliers to review product performance.
What You'll Bring
At least 2–3 years of experience as a fashion retail buyer.
A degree in Economics or equivalent; excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
Strong negotiation and sourcing skills.
A proactive mindset, strong personal accountability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate successfully across teams.
Fluency in English and Italian.
INDIT Salary: 42.000,00 € - 33.600,00 €
