Summary
With reference to the mining concessions operated in Italy by Energean Italy S.p.A. and Energean Sicilia Srl and with reference to the South Italy territorial area, the selected Person will perform the function of HSE Engineer and, in this role, will be appointed Responsible Director pursuant to Legislative Decree 624/96 – Presidential Decree 886/79 – Presidential Decree 128/59 and subsequent amendments, reporting directly to the HSE Manager, ensuring compliance with legislative provisions and the safety of operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure the application of Energean’s HSE standards in accordance with the working environment.
- Support the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of HSE Procedures.
- Promote HSE awareness through toolbox talks, training sessions, and campaigns.
- Contribute to the reporting of incidents, investigations, and the follow-up of corrective actions.
- Manage the organization of field work according to the safety provisions issued by the Employer, including on-site inspections, visits, the organization of briefings, supervision of work permits, etc.
- Comply with and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal provisions concerning the protection of workers’ safety and health, and implement the DSSC (which he/she signs), both in its objectives and in its specific provisions.
