Senior Process Engineer — Collecchio (PR), Italy
We are launching a cutting‑edge production plant in early 2027 that will feature the latest technologies such as ASTAROME™ and enable the use of liquid flavours in dry blends. The new state‑of‑the‑art facility will have automated packaging lines, a modern warehouse, sampling facilities, a QC laboratory, and expansion capacity to ship. This role will help launch the new Taste, Texture & Health plant, where talent and technology come together to shape the future of food innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate process commissioning and start‑up activities; support and supervise plant validation and qualification studies in compliance with GMP and FDA regulations, ensuring all systems and equipment are installed and operating according to design specifications.
- Monitor process performance and KPIs (OEE, scrap rates, yields, performance) and implement improvements to achieve operational targets for quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities (Lean manufacturing)
and oversee their implementation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, maintenance, quality, SHE) to identify and resolve issues that arise during production, including equipment malfunctions and process deviations.
- Create, update and approve P&ID;’s, mass and energy balances, and process technical specifications, and participate in PSAs, HAZOPs and Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA).
- Perform all work in alignment with SHE, Quality behaviours and standards and the dsm‑firmenich Code of Conduct.
