Why you should joinThe New Product Introduction (NPI) Buyer plays a key role in bringing new products to market by managing procurement activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
Working closely with engineering, quality, supply chain, and suppliers, the NPI Buyer supports sourcing decisions, cost optimization, supplier selection, risk management, and project execution to ensure successful product launches on time, within budget, and at the required quality standards.For this role, compensation starts from 38.000 EUR gross, depending on experience and skills.
It sits within a broader package that reflects the overall value of the role.Your main tasksManage procurement activities for new product development and industrialization projects.Support supplier sourcing, quotation processes (RFQs),
and commercial negotiations.Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing teams throughout project execution.Drive supplier selection and evaluate sourcing options based on cost, quality, and project requirements.Coordinate tooling, equipment, and component procurement activities.Monitor project timing, costs, risks, and supplier performance to support successful product launches.Conduct market research and identify opportunities for cost improvement and supply optimization.Lead supplier reviews and risk assessments to ensure project readiness.Support value engineering and cost reduction initiatives during product development.Facilitate effective communication between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.Contribute to process improvements and share best practices across the team.Ensure smooth handover of projects into serial production and ongoing commodity managementWhat your
