Based in Florence , you will primarily work on projects within Italy, while also providing remote support to international customers when required.
The Role
As a Software Engineer , you design, develop, and maintain reliable software solutions used in complex healthcare environments, where quality, performance, and stability matter.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop new features and modules for healthcare software solutions
- Maintain and improve existing applications with a strong focus on quality and performance
- Design, code, debug, test, and deliver clean, maintainable software




- Build reusable components to improve long‑term consistency and scalability
- Collaborate on technical documentation and knowledge sharing
- Work closely with Italian customers and stakeholders
- Provide remote support to international projects and Ascom sites when required
- Develop integrations with hospital and clinical IT systems

What We’re Looking For
- Solid experience with Microsoft C# and ASP.NET Core
- Strong hands‑on experience building and consuming REST and SOAP APIs
- Experience working with distributed systems and system integrations
- Understanding of software quality, performance, and maintainability principles
- Ability to work across the full development lifecycle (design → delivery → support)
- Comfortable collaborating with customers and cross‑functional teams
- Experience in healthcare, medical, or highly regulated environments is a plus
