We're seeking an experienced BMS Engineer to join a leading international MEP contractor on a major data centre project in Milan. This is a permanent position offering excellent long-term prospects, with a strong pipeline of high-value projects across Europe.As a BMS Engineer, you'll be responsible for managing all Building Management System activities from design coordination through to installation, commissioning, and handover — ensuring quality, safety, and technical excellence at every stage. You'll work as part of a highly skilled team delivering complex, cutting-edge engineering solutions for blue-chip clients.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate BMS design, installation,
and commissioning activities.Review and evaluate technical drawings, submittals, and specifications.Develop coordinated drawings incorporating mechanical, electrical, and architectural systems.Liaise with design teams, contractors, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.Oversee quality control, snagging, and testing documentation.Support value engineering initiatives and cost-saving measures.Participate in progress meetings and prepare weekly technical reports.Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with EHS standards.RequirementsDegree in Building Services, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.4+ years' experience in BMS or mechanical project engineering.Proven track record on data centre, pharmaceutical, or commercial projects.Strong understanding of HVAC, controls, and instrumentation systems.Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.EU passport required (for European project travel).Package7
