Description

Works under general supervision, applies engineering concepts to fault find and fix problems of minor/intermediate complexity machine problems. First/Second level PSC training completed. Understands machine geography and shows competence on utilization of technical manuals.

The Engineer will be responsible for the servicing of all Elekta products within the area of responsibility. This is a home‑based role with a requirement to travel throughout the BU and Cluster as required. Engineers are informed by the BU office or line manager which work needs to be undertaken and are expected to work under their own initiative to complete the tasks appointed.

Activities include planned maintenance, emergency corrective maintenance, upgrades, installation work,



courtesy calls to local customers and telephone support from the office or from a remote location.

Responsibilities

Aware of and able to follow the company’s policies around compliance, the environment, data management and quality systems.

Capable of using and populating the company’s service systems and databases.

Is capable of independently performing all planned maintenance tasks.

Is capable of independently performing the majority corrective maintenance tasks.

Is capable of performing more complex fault finding and repair independently.

Good presentational skills able to run local knowledge
