Responsibilities

Managing and maintaining server infrastructure (Windows and Linux), virtualization environments, and container platforms

Overseeing networking, firewalling, and security activities to ensure system reliability and protection

Managing backup, replication, disaster recovery, monitoring, and business continuity processes

Automating recurring tasks through scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices

Supporting infrastructures serving AI workloads and contributing to the adoption of AI-based tools within IT processes

Handling second‑level escalations, producing documentation and procedures, and acting as a point of reference for first‑level support teams

Education & Experience

Master's degree with strong academic results in a scientific discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields)

At least 5 years of professional experience managing Networking and Infrastructure projects

Technical Skills

Administration of Windows and Linux environments, scripting (PowerShell, Bash, and Python),



Infrastructure as Code (Ansible and Terraform)

Experience with major virtualization platforms, Docker and Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and GitOps methodologies

Wired and wireless networking, Firewall management, SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) solutions

Identity and Access Management (Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA), System hardening, vulnerability management, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Basic knowledge of SIEM and Zero Trust architectures

Backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions, monitoring and observability tools

Support for AI/ML infrastructures, including GPU‑based workloads, basic knowledge of MLOps and AIOps tools

Nice‑to‑have skills: Mobile Device Management (Intune), macOS administration, relevant certifications (Microsoft, CKA, CCNA, Security certifications)
