Galileo is a fast-growing renewable energy IPP, investor and operator , currently in the very dynamic start-up phase.Since our foundation in 2020, we have secured a pipeline of over 16 GW of solar PV, onshore wind , offshore wind and storage projects across 10 markets in Europe.
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the company’s engineering team across the development and deliveryof utility-scale renewable energy projects. This person will be based in ouroffice in Milan (with the possibility of hybrid remote working) and report to the EPC Director.
Act as theEPC Director’s key technical partner, supporting strategic and operationaldecisions across the project portfolio.
Oversee engineering activities throughout the fullproject lifecycle, from early-stage development and feasibility throughprocurement, construction, commissioning and operations.
Review and approve technical studies, layouts,designs, energy-yield assessments and risk analyses, ensuring quality,consistency and compliance with applicable standards.
Play a central role in site engineeringactivities for utility-scale renewable energy projects, supporting bothpre-construction and construction phases, ensuring that technical design, siteconstraints and constructability requirements are properly integrated intoproject execution.
Work closely with Development, Procurement,Construction, Investment, Legal and Asset Management teams to support projectdelivery, financing and divestment.
Lead the technical aspects of tenders, bidevaluations, equipment selection and support the negotiations with EPCcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
Lead, manage and develop the engineering team,defining priorities, responsibilities, technical standards and ways of working.
Bachelor's or Master’s degreein Engineering (Electrical Engineering will be considered a plus).
At least 8 years of experiencein renewable energy engineering and project delivery, with strong exposure toutility-scale solar PV.
