HR & Payroll Specialist | Fast-Growing QSR Group (Milan)
Are you ready to step into a high-growth environment where you can take real ownership and shape HR processes from the ground up?
We are partnering with one of Europe's leading Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) operators - part of a massive global restaurant ecosystem, to recruit an HR & Payroll Specialist for their headquarters in Milan .
Having launched a major brand expansion in Italy just two years ago, the business has already scaled to around 30 locations and 500 employees, with aggressive growth plans ahead. The HR team is lean, agile, and offers exceptional visibility to leadership, making this far more than a routine administrative role.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you will support the full employee lifecycle and HR operations across Italy:
Payroll & Administration: Support the end-to-end monthly payroll process and liaise directly with external payroll providers.
Employee Lifecycle Management: Draft employment contracts, prepare HR documentation,



and lead seamless onboarding and offboarding procedures.
Data & Systems: Manage employee records within HRIS platforms and assist with HR reporting and data accuracy.
Process Building: Contribute to the continuous improvement and scaling of internal HR processes as the company expands.
Compliance: Ensure full alignment with Italian labour regulations and internal company policies.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: 2-3 years in HR Administration, HR Operations, or Payroll.
Industry Focus: Background in Retail, Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or multi-site/multi-unit operations is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency and hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll software.
Languages: Professional fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of Spanish is a distinct advantage.
Mindset: Highly organized, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving matrix environment.
