What You'll Be Doing
- Providing senior management and the local risk and compliance committee with regular insights on material models
- Identifying improvements to modelling processes and methodologies,
and assigning reliable model risk ratings
- Providing recommendations to model developers to keep incidences of adverse outcomes within our risk appetite
- Embedding model risk management practices across the full model lifecycle
- Enhancing senior management's understanding of model assumptions, limitations, and outputs through multiple communication channels
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of experience in validating models in at least one of the following areas: credit, liquidity, treasury, stress testing, FinCrime, and/or AI/ML
- Experience using Python and SQL
- Familiarity with model risk management regulations across the EU, UK, and US
- A proven ability to defend model validation reports in front of senior stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience in banking or financial services, handling model risk findings with regulators and collaborating with internal audit teams
- Knowledge of AI/ML model governance, exp
