Position Summary
The Director of Human Resources reports directly to the General Manager and maintains a dotted‑line reporting relationship with the Regional Senior Director of Human Resources. The position is also a key member of the hotel’s Executive Committee. As a member of the HR organization, the Director of Human Resources provides both strategic and operational leadership across all areas of Human Resources. This role is responsible for talent acquisition and development, succession planning, workforce planning, performance management, and associate career growth. The successful candidate will effectively leverage technology and HR systems, foster the development of leaders and teams through coaching and development initiatives, and drive the execution of business objectives with maximum efficiency.



Operating with a high degree of independence, the Director will design and implement processes, programs, and initiatives aligned with the strategic priorities of the hotel, the EDITION brand, and Marriott International. The role is also responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive HR Plan aligned with property and brand strategies, ensuring that people‑related processes and services effectively support business performance and organizational success.

Human Resources Strategy and Leadership

- Implement and monitor action plans resulting from Associate Engagement Surveys.
- Build and strengthen talent pipelines that support the property's and region's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.
- Translate business priorities into HR strategies, action plans, and people initiatives for the hotel.
